The Lady of All NationsPray before the Cross:

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, send now Your Spirit over the earth. Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations, that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war. May the Lady of All Nations, who once was Mary, be our Advocate. Amen.”

The Lady's Action -- the spreading of her prayer and image

The Lady requests a worldwide action for the spreading of her prayer together with her image. She asks that the prayer be translated into all languages and be prayed as often as possible. The Lady says: “I promise to give grace for soul and body-according the Son’s will-to all who pray before the image and call upon Mary, the Lady of All Nations. You should not consider this something for a limited circle. For I am the Lady of All Nations. This image shell go from country to country, from town to town” (message 33).

The Lady gave her prayer and her image within a one-year span. The image was painted and , together with her prayer, approved by ecclesiastical authority. The prayer card (a holy card with the Lady’s image on one side and her prayer on the other) was printed and started traveling throughout all nations. The Lady uses the image of snowflakes covering the world to describe the spreading of the prayer and her image. She says, “Just as the snowflakes whirl over the world and fall upon the ground in a thick layer, so will the prayer and the image spread over the world and fall down into the hearts of all nations.

And now I am speaking to those who want a miracle. Very well then, I tell them: go with great ardour and zeal about this work of redemption and peace, and you will behold the miracle” (message 30).

What can we do for the Worldwide Action of the Lady of All Nations?

God wants all nations to come to know Mary as their Mother. All of us, therefore, are invited to cooperate now in this Worldwide Action. It is very simple and feasible for everyone. The first and most important step is giving out, in a loving way, the Lady of All Nation’s prayer card to those you know, and to those you don’t know! Furthermore, whoever is willing, can, as a guardian, order a poster of the Lady of All Nations at one of the Action Centres and have it framed. The guardians, who accept responsibility for such a pilgrim image, should see to it that the image, together with the prayer, travels to families, friends, acquaintances, co-workers, prayer groups, parishes, convents, monasteries, and schools. It should also go to the lonely and to those in prisons, nursing homes and hospitals, because the prayers of those who suffer are the most powerful.

To help find hosts who would like to care for the pilgrim image for a period, a guardian participating in the Action could use the Worldwide Action Pamphlet (this document) to spread the word or to give information, for example, for the parish bulletin. Anyone who would like to host a pilgrim image, but does not know a guardian, should contact one of the Action Centres listed below.

Those who host the pilgrim image should invite everyone interested to gather around the image for the rosary and the prayer of Amsterdam or to make a novena to the Lady of All Nations. When the image travels to the next host, it may be accompanied with a simple ceremony including prayer, song, and the invocation of Mary’s special maternal blessing.

Thus Mary will visit all of her children without the need of complicated organization. “... the Lady of All Nations will be brought throughout the world, from town to town, from country to country. This simple prayer will create one community.” (2/17/52)

Moytura has several other sites with a 'Christian flavour'. Prayerful Thoughts & Thoughtful Prayers is a little collection of prayers and thought-provoking stories, and a few links to some other really nice websites. Reflections for Lent offers a daily meditation for the 40 days of lent and the week leading into Easter. As part of my Journey section of the website join me to learn a little of the Early Christian Church in Ireland by visiting Clonmacnoise, founded by St. Ciaran on the banks of the River Shannon in the 6th. Century. Read about Saint Brendan the Navigator who started a Monastic settlement in the tiny village of Clonfert in the 6th century, located on the Galway/Offaly/Tipperary border. Travel on my journeys to two of Canada's most famous Catholic Shrines - Saint Anne de Beaupré and Cap de la Madeleine, both on the shores of the Saint Lawrence river in Quebec. Finally I welcome you to come with me to see a little of Medugorje, a peaceful haven in a war-torn country - Bosnia-Herzogovina.
