How many times have we heard stories of the way the Lord can change things when we hand ALL over to Him? Often these stories are quite miraculous. In our family we have the perfect example of a situation when imminent death was turned around by complete surrender to the Lord.

Often in times of despair and hopelessness a complete surrender to God can change situations. Even when all seems useless and it is difficult to pray any more, when the answers don't seem to be coming, a simple prayer of:

"Lord, I'm tired, I'm worn out asking, I place the whole situation in your loving hands and now ask you to deal with it in Your own way and in Your own time."

Then perhaps, everyday just whisper that most precious yet simple of prayers:

"Jesus Mercy, Mary Help"

This page is for all those stories of surrender. By sharing the wonderful things the Lord does in our lives we strengthen each other's faith and open a door to having the faith and courage to place every situation in the loving hands of God.

As part of my Journey section of the website join me to learn a little of the Early Christian Church in Ireland by visiting Clonmacnoise, founded by St. Ciaran on the banks of the River Shannon in the 6th. Century. Read about Saint Brendan the Navigator who started a Monastic settlement in the tiny village of Clonfert in the 6th century, located on the Galway/Offaly/Tipperary border. Travel on my journeys to two of Canada's most famous Catholic Shrines - Saint Anne de Beaupré and Cap de la Madeleine, both on the shores of the Saint Lawrence river in Quebec. Finally I welcome you to come with me to see a little of Medugorje, a peaceful haven in a war-torn country - Bosnia-Herzogovina.
