Hello everyone,

This is one of those 'special editions' and the thought just came to me to send it out now, almost with a sense of urgency. Tomorrow is the 1st. of May, a month dedicated to Mary. Please forgive me if I seem to be pushing the Catholic stuff' but I am what I am. What I'm suggesting today is for those who are Catholic or who have devotion to Our Blessed Lady, and perhaps for those who can understand Her role in our Redemption, to consider praying for a special intention for the next month, explained below.

God is using Her in a most powerful way in the last 150 years or so to bring His message of Salvation to a deaf and heedless world, through conversion of heart, repentance of sin and increased prayer lives. For those of you who have a difficulty with this then now's the time to delete
this Reflection. If you feel you can't pray through Her then perhaps you
might consider saying the following prayer instead please:

To Claim someone for Christ

"Heavenly Father, I ask You in the Name and through the Blood of Jesus to rebuke satan for taking captive that which is Your creation. And I ask You, Lord Jesus, to place Your Crown of Thorns around these men of power and show them Your Sacred Heart under Your Mantle of Love. Lord Jesus You know who they are, we place them all into Your most Sacred Heart and beg Your mercy for them"

Since the dawn of time our world has been a battle ground. Not the wars we hear about and see happening all around us, but a battle between good and evil, between Principalities and Powers. The latest edition is the war in Iraq. The reason given was terrorism, the truth is very different. This war was about Oil and the setting up of the World Bank and the IMF. Iraq was one of about 7 or 8 so-called "Rogue Nations" where the World Bank does not have control, Syria and North Korea being among the others. Already the 'war speak' has started about Syria and North Korea.

The last few years has seen an almost frenzy of evil, war, death and destruction. The Third World starves while nations spend billions on arms. Africa, the richest continent on this earth, is starving to death and dying from AIDS. Why? Because of a small group of the world's wealthiest and most evil men ever known. They are the World Bank, they are the International Monetary Fund, they are embedded within the European Union, the United Nations, WTO, NATO, G7, the World Council
of Churches and every other global organisation out there. They control the media, satellite communications, the Internet, and they are deep within the upper levels of Churches, including my own beloved Church.

Sounds like another 'nutter with conspiracy theories'! Maybe I am, but research has shown enough evidence from all sorts of reputable sources to prove their theories. Our following of the various visionaries from around the world has told us often enough, through the messages of both Our
Divine Lord and His Blessed Mother, of a world in deep crisis and facing tribulation and the 'just anger' and wrath of God. We ignore these supplications to return to God at our own peril!

So, back to the month of May! I'm going to ask you all to say at least one Rosary a day, if not the four mysteries, for the conversion of the hearts of these evil men, in the book we call them 'Grey Men in the Shadow's. No amount of speaking or demonstrations can stop them, only the power of prayer. For those not familiar with this most beautiful of prayers and much loved and encouraged by Our Divine Lord, they can be found on the website from the Prayer Link on the top of the page:

As before, I might lose Prayer Warriors over these statements and this request, but so be it. The Spirit must blow where It wills.

God Bless you all

Mary in Galway

Pray before the Cross:

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, send now Your Spirit over the earth. Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations, that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war. May
the Lady of All Nations, who once was Mary, be our Advocate. Amen."

Moytura has several other sites with a 'Christian flavour'. Prayerful Thoughts & Thoughtful Prayers is a little collection of prayers and thought-provoking stories, and a few links to some other really nice websites. Reflections for Lent offers a daily meditation for the 40 days of lent and the week leading into Easter. As part of my Journey section of the website join me to learn a little of the Early Christian Church in Ireland by visiting Clonmacnoise, founded by St. Ciaran on the banks of the River Shannon in the 6th. Century. Read about Saint Brendan the Navigator who started a Monastic settlement in the tiny village of Clonfert in the 6th century, located on the Galway/Offaly/Tipperary border. Travel on my journeys to two of Canada's most famous Catholic Shrines - Saint Anne de Beaupré and Cap de la Madeleine, both on the shores of the Saint Lawrence river in Quebec. Finally I welcome you to come with me to see a little of Medugorje, a peaceful haven in a war-torn country - Bosnia-Herzogovina. Please also pay a visit to  Moytura's Irish Bookshop where you can find books on the history of Christianity in IrelandIrish Prayers and Celtic Christianity
