Hello everyone,

Tonight, Saturday 18th January, we have 354 people from all over the world and from many Christian denominations joining together in prayer. We welcome our very first Muslim Prayer Warrior to the 
Circle of Prayer. Our mini-reflection this week is an unusual one, it's the sharing of an Irish Visionary when Jesus showed her His Passion and I've picked the Scourging at the Pillar.

I'm doing this one before I go to bed as my friend, Chris, and I spent the most beautiful day in prayer up in Achill, a remote yet beautiful part of County Mayo. I want to get it out of the way and leave my 
Sunday nightmare-free!

The gloves are off - the battle's on and never was the term Prayer Warrior more appropriate than for this week's Reflection. My absence last week is explained below, and I apologise to those who missed it. Perhaps you'll understand when you read this one. I could well lose some of you for the strong words, but so be it if I do. I have to say them!

Last December 8th a friend and I spent the weekend in Cookstown, County Tyrone, in the Sacred Heart House of Prayer. They were holding a day of prayer against abortion and over the couple of days we got to know a Scottish lady, her husband and her daughter, all of whom are staunch pro-life advocates. She shared her own testimony, very bravely I might add - she was the 'product of a rape' and now works tirelessly for Pro-Life. I told her about the few pages I had up on the website about abortion but that they were in the softly, softly mode for those who had been hurt by abortion. I knew then that I needed to do more to highlight this subject by placing some pictures on the website and telling the Truth, the Reality.

So, let's just back-track to the mid-60's for the start of this story. I started my nursing career as a cadet in Birmingham in the UK in 1966, then went on to train in the same hospital as a RGN from 1968 to 1971. In 1969 my mother decided she too would train as a nurse and was accepted in a neighbouring hospital. In 1967 abortion became legal in the UK but my hospital had a Catholic ethos at the time and would not abort. 

Not so my mother's hospital! Mom used the conscientious objection clause as a Catholic to avoid having any hand, act or part in abortion but used to get continuous snide and nasty comments from one of the obstetricians. As a family, we left the UK to come back to live in Ireland in May of 1971. I continued my nursing in the accident and emergency department of a busy Dublin City centre hospital for the first few years. Then I took a career break to have our first 4 children and towards the last 10-15 years, up until late 1997, worked with the elderly and finally the terminally ill. Mom didn't do anymore official nursing but used to help out elderly neighbours. 

Ireland, as you know, is one of the very few countries left that has not legalised abortion - YET - so we have been somewhat sheltered from the reality. O, I knew in my head, and from nursing self-inflicted abortion patients and a spontaneous abortion of my own after our first child was born, I knew what an early stage abortion was like.

In 2000 a friend from the US started to tell me about partial-birth abortions and what he told me chilled me to the bone but I just could not visualise it in my head, it all seemed so incredible. After a chat with the Scottish lady that weekend, I asked her to send me on as many pictures as she had and I'd post them on the website. Nothing arrived so last Saturday I went internet-hunting for some. I found 'em! All 94 of 'em! On an American website run by Priests called priestsforlife.com.

I spent all day last Saturday and Sunday setting up that group of pages and cried and cried. Hence no Weekly Reflection last week! Now, I've seem some stuff in my day but I have never in all my life seen such abominable, diabolical, satanic destruction as what is in those sad, sad pictures. We started a wee house prayer group here last Thursday week and I shared with the folks this Sunday's Epistle, the letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians about fornication, and spoke about my weekend's experience. I cried in the telling. I am crying now in the telling!

Since Sweden, the first country, legalised abortion, our world has murdered over ONE AND A HALF BILLION CHILDREN! Our world aborts 50 MILLION CHILDREN A YEAR! That's more than ten times the population of my country every year! How in the Name of God and all that is Holy can so-called civilised nations allow this to happen! I didn't know! I didn't want to know! I didn't need to know, we're nice and cosy here, even though it's coming closer and closer.

After WWII the answer was always 'we didn't know'! Well NO MORE! The Truth is there in all it's gory detail. These are the pictures the press will never show, the television will never air, the magazines will never publish, the clients are never told about and the contraception and abortion industry don't want the world to know about! God Bless the Internet for something, at least! Let no one ever say to you 'they don't know', 'it's a matter of conscience', 'it's a matter of choice' - coz it ain't. It's the gleeful work of Satan and everyone of us who does nothing about it is complicit, one way or another!

Nearly all of us know of the Passion of Christ. The Scourging at the Pillar was horrendous. He was whipped unmercifully to within inches of His life. Every lash He took for our sins, every drop of His Precious Blood He spilled for our sins. Do we really believe His pain and suffering stopped as soon as He joined His Father? He feels the pain of every sin committed since He left us almost two thousand years ago. And every one is another 'stroke of that whip'. So, every day, of every week, of every year we give Him 4,000 lashes just from abortions alone!

So here's my suggestion, take it or leave it. We have 216 Prayer Warriors from the US. Let's start the prayers going for there first, as they have legalised partial-bith abortion. Of the 50 US States represented here we are missing just 6 States - Alaska, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North and South Dakota and South Carolina. Some of the States only has one Prayer Warrior and you can check out which at: http://www.circleofprayer.com/participants.html All we need is 2 people per State - "Where two or more are gathered together in my name .....". If any of you know folks in the missing States you might like to suggest this particular Prayer Campaign to them.

Every Friday at 3pm we should aim to say the Prayer of Divine Mercy, coz honest to God, do we ever need Him to show Mercy! Is it any wonder the very heavens are crying out to visionaries all over the world? How much longer will the Blessed Trinity put up with our total disregard of them and blood-saturated bond we have with Satan? The altars of the world are no longer to be found in Churches, they have become altars to Mamon. They are to be found as surgical tables in abortion clinics and hospitals! And the doctors, nurses, hospital administrators etc. are all dancing to the tune of the evil master of deceit and lies, murder and destruction! But so are we when we say nothing. The word tolerance has become a soft definition for what should read: 'To tolerate - allow the existence or occurance of without authoritative interference; leave unmolested; endure or permit; etc.'. In other words - 'do nothing about'!

Three O'Clock Prayer to the Divine Mercy

You expired, O Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You. Amen

Prayer to Saint Michael:

"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in the day of battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, cast down to hell Satan and all his wicked spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls"

Prayer for Peace:

O God from whom all holy desires, all right counsels, and all just works do proceed. Give unto Thy servants that peace which the world cannot give, that our hearts may be set to obey Thy Commandments, and that unafraid of our enemies, we may spend our days under Thy protection, in peaceful order, through Christ Our Lord, Amen.  Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.

Pray this prayer with the US, Britain, Iraq and North Korea in mind that their hearts may also be changed.

Pray before the Cross:

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, send now Your Spirit over the earth. Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations, that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war. May the Lady of All Nations, who once was Mary, be our Advocate. Amen.”

The Scourging at the Pillar - an Irish Visionary's Personal Experience

"The Scourging at the Pillar was when I found myself going down the steps into a cellar. I could see a big, black, ugly beam across the room. Jesus had His back to me. His back was bare and His hands had bands and chains around them. His hands were stretched upwards as far as they could go. There were two ugly fat men with very little clothes on them, beside Jesus. One had a whip and a set of cat-'o-nine-tails. These tails or lashes coming out of the end of it had lead pieces on them. There was another set of cat-'o-nine-tails with cone-shaped lead pieces of lead at the end, and they used them both to strike Jesus. The whips would wrap around His ribs and you could hear the sound as if His very ribs were cracking from the noise of the wallops. They lashed and lashed His back. Jesus would collapse and then would sort of struggle up again by pulling Himself up. His toes barely touched the ground. They would lash Him again until His shoulders, His whole back, were just in bits - all kinds of strokes of every description. When they drew back the whips at times, I could see bits of His flesh flying back with the whip."

For all those who are in sin and hurting others today

For all those who are lost, lonely or low in mind, body or spirit

Lord in Your Mercy hear our prayers, in faith we know You will answer.
