There is a plethora of reported Private Revelations or Mystics from all around the world today and Ireland is no exception. What's the reason? Have we all become caught up in 'End Times' prophesy or is there perhaps something much deeper going on? The world continues to plummet into the depths of depravity and sin, could the very Heavens be crying out for repentance and conversion in these modern times as the prophets of old did in the Old Testament? Why would God allow us in the 21st century to allienate Him so drastically and not try to warn us of our errors and offer a chance to change our ways? Are we not in a worse situation than ever Sodom and Gomorrah were? Is there a limitation placed on Christ which stops Him from using humans as His 'voice'?

As always, the Church exercises extreme caution when it comes to Private Revelations and the Visions of Mystics and sets out a strict criteria with which it investigates such phenomena. This is further discussed in Private Revelations Explained.

Here we attempt to look at what appears to be happening in Ireland, once the most Christian of countries. Sadly that is no longer the case and we are on a downward spiral no different from anywhere else in the world. Could it be that those souls who say they are receiving messages from both the Lord Jesus Christ and the Blesed Virgin are actually being used as the 'voice of God' to tell His people that all is not well?

I suppose the words of Scripture "Those with eyes to see and ears to hear" have to bring some truth to what is happening, for surely we would need to be blind and deaf not to recognise a world so lost in sin that it is on a pathway of self-destruction. These pages tell of four such individuals or partnerships who are bringing their 'message of hope' to both Ireland and the rest of the world.

I cannot suggest what to think but can only say, read with an open mind but always with the help of the Holy Spirit for Discernment and Wisdom as to what you read. If the only thing we ever do as a result of these messages is to change our hearts, live the Gospel, remain true to our faith and Church teachings and return to a life of genuine and holy prayer as a result of reading what they have to say, then much will indeed been achieved.
