Jennifer's Story

I'm 23 and the mother of two young children. Well, about 11 months ago I found out that I was pregnant with my brand new boyfriend's baby. I was terrified because at the time I was out of work and trying to take care of two children. At first the idea of an abortion never came into my mind until I was about 10 weeks along when my boyfriend told me he just wasn't ready to be a father. I did not want to put another child through the pain my other children had to go through by not having a father so I decided to have an abortion. Physically there wasn't much pain during the procedure but emotionally I felt like I just wanted to die. I couldn't believe that I was actually going through it. Since then I've endured months of severe depression and a deep regret that I don't think I will EVER get over. I think of that child every single day and I truly regret the decision I made and I pray that God and my child forgive me. Thanks for listening.
